Newspapers of 22 Russian regions are boycotting Filipp. The Interregional League of Journalists comprising the leading newspapers of the Volga region, Ural, Central Russia and the North Caucasus, announced that its newspapers will not write a word about Philipp Kirkorov.
After Filipp's scandal with journalists, “Komsomolka" decided to look, how our showbiz stars knock themselves out on tours. Kirkorov’s scandalous insults of a journalist at a press conference became the subject of public discussion. The problem is Dostoevsky-like moral dilemma: «Do celebrities have a right to behave like this?» People say they are fed up with the same celebrities on TV and stage and with their arrogant treating of others like crap. Celebrities blame journalists for their conflicts with the audience. Kirkorov’s fellow singers tried to justify him and themselves speaking at a talk-show on Channel One , as if trying to prove they have a right to lip sing or to give concerts being drunk... This happens on tours in the province and our journalists can confirm this. Kirkorov’s case was not unique, it was just made public. We, the audience, are paying pop stars. Why should we suffer from their indecent behavior? We have collected some examples of such arrogance right from the current tour season.
Hi-Fi demand king size beds
Samara was thoroughly preparing for the arrival of Hi-Fi band. But they failed to fulfill the main creative request of the singers. When Mitya and Timofey discovered the single beds in their rooms, they got furious. And went back to the airport. «You have 10 minutes to give the guys the best suite in the best hotel of the city! And I don’t care about the losses!» - shouted Hi-Fi manager. Three suites in the hotel cost tour organizers $1200, plus already paid rooms. Fans got their concert, but offended singers provided no autograph session after...
Kirkorov: the lip singer
Filipp Kirkorov's Stavropol fans came to listen to their favorite signer, but he decided that looking at him was already enough . Late May, Kirkorov gathered the full concert hall in Stavropol but did not take the trouble even to open his mouth when miming. While a song was playing, he kissed the fans who presented him flowers and thanked them.

Drunk Yulian pop-singer was taken off-stage during a concert marking the Days of Moscow Culture in the Kaluga region. People pushed one another trying to get to the concert hall awaiting the decent singer whom they got used to see on TV. They saw a different Yulian. After his first words and moves it became clear that Yulian was boozed up. All songs were miming. The Honored Artist of the Russian Federation showed such tricks that many people began to leave. The announcer Anna Shatilova hardly managed to get the star off-stage. When leaving, Yulian loudly told everyone to go to hell.
Gluk’OZA singing live: show can’t go on
Really, yo! Gluk’OZA was out of sync at the Day of Russia Concert in Nizhny Novgorod which was broadcasted live. Sound producers of a local TV channel mistakenly switched the soundtrack off during Gluko’OZA’s performance and people heard a low hoarse voice instead of nice computer-processed singing. 20 minutes after, the TV men stopped the program explaining the accident by technical malfunctions.
Kuzmin drank too much to stand.
Age is age... Kuzmin kept going to the loo during his concert. Vladimir Kuzmin began his Belgorod concert rather originally. He went on stage staggering and asked one of his musicians: - Where are we and what are we singing? Instead of the line «Love me as I am » Vladimir sang «Lift me as I am». It was providential as soon he got tangled in wires and fell. The singer managed to rise, but soon, having unbuttoned his trousers, went to the loo. On his return, Kuzmin began to play games with musicians - tried to stab one with a violin bow, and played the synth with his nose. Finally Vladimir tried to sing his hit «I will never forget you», but, forgot the words, and kept singing «Milk, milk, milk...» Fans began to leave, and Kuzmin went to have a pee again. He returned with a tambourine on his head and threw it at the musicians. This was the final number of the concert. Only 20 people were left in the hall. Nobody returned money for the spoiled evening…
