"Zolotoe koltso" is the largest daily newspaper of the Yaroslavl region. Founded in 1990, it almost immediately became popular among other print media of the region, thanks to its sharp topical material, loud journalist investigations, serious analytical articles and "hot" news.
Today "Zolotoe koltso" is a serious factor, which developes the socio-political climate of Yaroslavl and neighbour regions. "Zolotoe koltso" is also well known on the international arena. The newspaper's staff repeatedly took part in various congresses, conferences and seminars held both in Russia and in Western Europe and the United States.
The newspaper is actively cooperating with the International Fund for support of independent media.
